01. Technical Challenge
The hangar required a support structure capable of resisting category 5 hurricane winds while maintaining a luxury industrial aesthetic.
02. Engineering Approach
We implemented an A36 steel rigid frame system with full penetration weld joints, exposed and polished to highlight the materiality.
03. Outcome
A 45,000 square foot structure serving as a private maintenance center, combining extreme safety with award-winning architectural design.
